Well, we're clearly not staying on top of the blog. I can't even remember the last post! But alas, here it is, full of pictures from the last month or two. Unfortunately we weren't very good about taking photos during (any) of the Thanksgiving dinners...but we did get Edison's first voting day, his first time at the circus, a visit with Santa, and his first snowfall!! I was especially excited that I got to be there for the first snow experience, and he's been asking for snow so he can wear his boots again ever since.

Edison's picking up words really quickly now, and showing many signs of independence....fortunately he likes being given choices, so that tactic is working well so far. He's been able to play with other little boys recently as well, which is generally a pretty hilarious time for everyone. He is also obsessed with construction equipment - I can honestly say that I never thought I would be able to differentiate between a skid steer loader and a front end loader...until now.

He's still working on sleeping through the night, but we've had a handful of solid nights of sleep in the last couple of months, so I'm hopeful. Maybe all we need is more days of playing in the snow with friends!

We hope everyone is doing great and enjoying the holidays - we are certainly happy to be spending time with family and making new friends! Here's to an Awesome 2012 and an even Happier 2013!
