Back to the Beach

Ok - Damon says I write too much when I get the chance. He said "headline news only". So, brief updates:
- Edison's top two teeth are coming in now. Nursing has become a periodically scary experience.

- Edison won his first raffle at Damon's last baseball game - winning a t-shirt for daddy

- We're preparing for our first real vacation (although Guam often feels pretty vacation-like) next week to Bali. Uncles Clint and Jamie are preparing a great week for us. Hopefully we'll be able to keep the mosquitoes away.

- Edison is crawling wherever he can. He makes a funny sound whenever he goes somewhere or finds something new. It's pretty hilarious.

- It has been really rainy here, but finally the tradewinds seem to have arrived and the sun is back - time for more days at the beach!!

- We're giving Edison all kinds of foods to try. Initially I was trying to stick to the one food every three days thing, but that has gone out the window. His favorites so far: hummus and corn soup

- Edison has had his first bout with constipation. He went 4 days straight with no poop. Then, on the one day I'm left alone with him for 3 hours, he had three major poops. Edison clearly loves his daddy.

- I think that's all for now. I always remember something after the fact...oh well!

Hope the winter weather isn't too bad for everyone in the U.S.!!

Mommy prepares Edison for his journey out to sea.

Tis a nice day for a floatation device.

The main concern is poodle sharks.

"Hey, this water is really salty."

Ahh, look out behind you, poodle shark!

Edison and his skin-guard.

"Mommy, what are you doing with a camera?"

Edison and mommy smile for daddy.

Edison and mommy smile for one another.

Edison takes a picture of himself and mommy.

"Ahh, poodle sharks can go on land!"

After a day at the beach, Edison passes out in his bouncy chair.

Happy Edison

Japanese tourists keep us entertained during lunch.

Finding another messy way to drink.

"Hey dad, you really don't have to take this many pictures..."

"But if you insist, I'll keep smiling."

"Like this."

Edison and Zeke take a nap.

And a New Video of Edison and his Octopus
