Last Days of Guam (again) and First Days of Michigan!

After 2 1/2 months, finally a new blog post! It has actually taken that long for us to ship the computers and get fast enough internet in Michigan to be able to do this - so it's a big milestone.

I'm not even sure where to begin - so much has happened since July! I guess the highlights:
We successfully got from Guam to Michigan, with all 6 members intact. We moved into our new house in the woods and are loving it!
Edison has met lots of people, and seen a lot of people he last met when he was 4 months old.
He's getting to know new friends, as best he can. It's pretty fun and funny to watch him interact with other kids.
He gets to see at least one of his grandparents every week.
Edison has started saying more words - finally! I thought that kid would never talk! He has actually picked up on sign language a lot faster than speaking, but at least he does both now, which makes life for everyone a little easier.
He is pretty much poop trained - awesome. Cloth diapers and a normal diet do not make for good times, so the poop training success has been a big plus. Although, when he signs that he needs to poop in, say, a public restaurant, it becomes a bit more difficult. I mustered up the courage to take him to poop in a public bathroom last week, and although the pooping was quite successful, I forgot to point him down....ahh, yes. Boys can pee in all kinds of directions.
Edison's most recent favorite foods include dates, apricots, olives (still), wasabi peas, salmon, and quesadillas. Just in case you were wondering what went into those poops.
I'm pretty sure there are about a million stories I could tell, but I think most people just like the photos - so here you go!

And don't forget to watch the short, fun movie at the end.
